Arcadiez Posted January 1, 1970 Share Posted January 1, 1970 Firemaking is an artisan skill that is used to burn logs to create a fire, often to cook raw food on the spot. Training Firemaking also allows players to use light sources when exploring dark environments. Firemaking is the companion skill of Woodcutting in the sense that logs obtained from Woodcutting can also be burned to train Firemaking. As players level up, they gain the ability to burn better logs and use more efficient light sources. Equipment/Items Game perk Pyromancy Equipment The Firemaking master cape inherits the perk of the base cape, so it acts as a light source with level 3 brightness (which also works in the inventory) and gives better rewards from fire spirits. Ring of fire is obtained from fire spirits. +2% FM Exp Flame gloves is obtained from fire spirits. +2% FM Exp Inferno Adze is obtained from fire spirits. 33% chance to burn logs you cut Summoning creatures A Pyrelord (46 ) can offer a +3 invisible firemaking boost and also counts as a tinderbox with an additional 10 XP bonus to every log. A Forge Regent (76 ) counts as a tinderbox with an additional 10 XP bonus to every log, just like the aforementioned Pyrelord. A Lava titan (83 ) offers a +10 invisible firemaking boost but does not give additional experience per log. A Reborn phoenix (84 ) offers a +12 invisible firemaking boost and has a chance to burn two logs at once when using bonfires. Aura Wisdom aura Increases all experience gained by 2.5%. Pulse core can give up to 10% experience. Invention perk Pyromaniac - chance of bonfiring all logs in inv Rapid - Chance to speed up bonfiring by 1 tick Tiner - Chance to get more, 25% FM Exp Best combo Pyromaniac 4 + Rapid 2 - 5x Light componenets Tinker 3 - 5x Fungal components Special Perk Useful Item Portable Braziers. Obtainable through Treasure hunter or from GE Effects: +14,4% Bonfire FM Exp and 10% chance to save a log Light sources Doesn't help with Experience but used to access dark dungeons/caves Fire spirits A Fire spirit is a common phenomenon that can appear while adding logs to a bonfire or a portable brazier. They are unique to the player; only the player receiving the fire spirit event will be able to see it. It is possible for multiple fire spirits to be active for the player. When a spirit appears, the player can click on it to collect it as an item. From there, it can be clicked on to collect rewards. However, the spirits will only last for a minute before disappearing, so players must pay attention in order to spot them. Fire spirits has the capability to give. Ring of fire Flame gloves Inferno Adze Firemaking 1-99 Level 1-15 Regular logs Obtained from: Dead/dying trees, Evergreen Trees, and Normal Trees or GE.Level 15-30 Oak logs Obtained from: Oak tree or GE. Level 30-45 Willow logs Obtained from: Willow tree or GE. Level 45-60/99 Maple logs Obtained from: Maple tree or GE. Cheapest way to obtain level 99+. However it's very slow at higher levels. Level 60-75/99 Yew logs Obtained from: Yew tree or GE. Medium Expensive way to obtain 99+ Level 75-90/99 Magic logs and Corrupted Magic logs Obtained from: Magic tree , Corrupted creature or GE(Player based sells). Expensive way to obtain 99+ but fast. Level 90-99+ Elder logs Obtained from: Elder tree or GE(Player based sells). Very Expensive way to obtain 99+ but very fast. Special ways Protean logs. Will act as equivalent logs depending on your Firemaking level. Example being 90+ the protean logs will act as Elder logs. Thus it's recommend to use protean logs at higher level. Curly root. Players cannot trade Curly roots, and can cut and burn them in the Jadinko Lair. Chopping jade roots requires 83 Woodcutting. Adding additional roots to the fire doesn't require a tinderbox. 99+ (200M) Protean logs. Will act as equivalent logs depending on your Firemaking level. Example being 90+ the protean logs will act as Elder logs. Thus it's recommend to use protean logs at higher level. They're afkable and provides high amount of experience. Use highest tier logs you can afford. FM Brawling gloves. 4x exp from burning logs in deep wildy. Best way to use: Protean logs at mage bank Use braziers Extremely fast experience Congratulations on achieving level 99 Firemaking! You are now one step closer to maxing your account!
