For the bows here, unless you have the velheim fletching perk (that gives you the ability to string bows without bowstring) it's faster to not string them, as gathering/making bowstrings can be time consuming in it's self Level 1-10 ShortBow Level 10-20 ShieldBow Level 20 - 25 Oak Shortbow Level 25 - 30 Oak Shieldbow Level 30 - 35 Willow Shortbow Level 35 - 61 The reason for this big jump doing willows only is simply because willows chop much faster than maples and anything higher from here on out, but if you have maple logs on hand do them as the alternative route. Willow Shieldbow Alternative Route 50 - 61 Maple Shortbow Maple Shieldbow Level 61 - 69 Adamant Bolts You can begin to add tips onto these for extra experience and to save on bars if you are making the unf bolts your self. Ruby - 63 - 65 Diamond - 65 - 69 Level 69 - 75 (81 if you don't have 101 slayer) Runite Bolts You can begin to add tips onto these for extra experience and to save on bars if you are making the unf bolts your self. Dragon Bolts 75 - 81/99 This is a rather good method as you can get a steady amount of Rune Arrowheads from Corrupted Scarabs as well as Corruped Magic logs (used at a later time) Rune Arrows 81 - 99 Rune dart Although this require smiting rune bars and creating bolt tips, it's by fast the best and fastest sustainable method from here onwards Alternative route 97 - 99 Corrupted Magic Logs From Corrupted Scarabs you can get a lot of Corruped Magic logs, if you farmed some Runearrow heads there or are running low on supplies for rune darts this can help in a pinch, they yield nothing but experience for fletching when crafted.
