Normal spellbook doesn't get a lot of love, and it probably won't for a while. But I'm wondering if it works or not?
I've tried it before, and on RS3, if you get no hit splat it means it connected, but I'm not so sure if the 10% bonus dmg is actually occuring or not.
A niche question, but one worth mentioning I guess. Does vulnerability actually give you 10% more damage? -

I kinda like the concept of pets being difficult to obtain. Makes them more worthwhile and more of an achievement.
I agree with this too; That being said, I was just wondering if anything in particular might be wrong with Ash Petchum as a whole

I've had this perk ever since I started the account and my pet droprate is abysmal, and a couple other people with the perk agree that it's tarnishing their pet droprates too.
Is there something wrong with this perk? Or is it mere coincidence that the perk holders just have bad RNG?
Here's some of my pet drops for some statistics.
[12:33:44] -> Sterling G received Soul fragment drop from: the magister (KC: 896)!
[08:57:26] -> Sterling G received Telos' tendril drop from: Telos (KC: 1221)!
[06:58:32] -> Sterling G received Kalphite claw drop from: Kalphite King (KC: 140)!
[02:16:13] -> Sterling G received Severed hoof drop from: k'ril tsutsaroth (KC: 19)! (My lowest by far)
[05/12/2021 09:17 PM] -> Sterling G has received the Shrimpy pet drop (KC: 8). (Has a low droprate anyway)
Here's some of my logs that have no pet quite yet:

Here's my take.
There's no instancing for moss golems in RS3.
Why should there be here? And why does it matter what items people are 'hoarding'. That's up to them to do.
All you gotta do is ask if you can do your task and most of the time they'll let you.- 2

The GP Nerf.
in General Discussion
Posted
You guys had good intentions. I believe that.
But you gotta understand, a lot of gp is not coming into game anymore with these nerfs. Invention, being a huge money sink, is going to effectively eat even more of it, but with less gp injection in the eco, its going to be even harder to do it.
Not to mention, this is going to hurt players. A lot of people did the methods they did so that gp was consistently flowing into the economy. Now?
There's nothing. There's nobody.
Everything will crash. EVERYTHING. And PvM will effectively die out; cause with no flow of gp, prices will go down to make up for it. And suddenly, there's no incentive anymore.
What was so good about the previous gp income was every monster in the game had a purpose. Now that's almost lost strictly to slayer tasks.
Is that the only option? Where's the flexibility now? And if this has to stay, increase the amount of monsters per slayer task!
Buying or selling, both sides are heavily affected by this, and it's not going to work for much longer. Power to the players is the moral here. We know what's good for the game, and we're noticing the problem already. And some are already thinking of leaving because of this.
There needs to be a change.
