  1. Hi there! Welcome to the forums, and glad you're here~
  2. Hello everyone, For last November's feedback we decided to do something different. We've often had requests to allow for Anonymous feedback to be taken, so that is what we decided to do. @Sandstorm forwarded me some base requirements that he wanted to be in the form, and by using his points, the questionnaire was populated with the questions, options, etc.. - I hope that it was in-depth enough to allow for a variety of feedback. From this feedback form, we had a whopping 70 replies. Many thanks to all those who participated, it's always good to get feedback from the player-base. Some stats/results from the survey itself will be listed below. Q: How did you find Velheim? 1. 28.6% via 'Other'. 2. 24.3% via Runelocus. 3. 24.3% via a YouTuber. 4. 14.3% via TOPG. 5. 8.6% via Rune-Server. For YouTubers, we had the obvious listings such as Artz, Noobs, and Wet Wizard - thanks to their content, whether it be from the past or recent. For 'Other' there were plenty of responses which varied such as; Google, a recommendation from a buddy, other voting sites not specifically listed, and a few which listed RS3's past and/or current state as their reasons to join. For the frequency of playing Velheim, there was also a nice variety. Q: How often do you play? 1. 40% logging in every day. 2. 22% logging in 'every so often' (undefined). 3. 20% logging in around 5 days a week. 4. 10% logging in around 3 days a week. 5. 8% logging in once a week. When it came to when players joined, and their playtimes, there was also a great variance in answers here. Ranging from 2-3 years ago, all the way up to a few hours before the player answered the survey. For the following question, as it was based on input - I'll do my best to group up the answers into categories. Q: What is your favourite/most liked content in Velheim? 1. Bossing/Elite Dungeons. 2. PVM/Slayer. 3. Skilling/Leveling & Prestiging. 4. GIM. 5. Collection Logs. Following these, we had also posed the question of 'Desired Improvements' and 'Recent Updates'. *Again like the above, I'll try to compile/summarise duplicate replies. Q: If there is anything, what would you like to see improved in Velheim, why? 1. Invention Perks - ease of getting higher tiered perks. 2. Item Sink. 3. Early game money making. 4. Magic & Melee buffs. 5. New gamemode. 6. More looking into player suggestions/more communication from the Owner. Q: Were there any recent updates in particular which you disliked, please specify which one/s, why? 1. Combat changes (Damage Cap, Aura changes, Spellbooks & Curses books). 2. Donator Benefits having some gold cost. 3. AFK in instance changes. 4. Diary rewards being diary-locked to use. 5. The rest of the answers were mostly 'no' or 'none in particular'. It's always great in the short and long term to get specific feedback on content, whether it be QOL feedback or impactful feedback. For those that decided to leave their usernames, thank you for your confidence in us as a Staff Team - for those who did not, thank you nonetheless for the feedback you provided. Though there were a few 'troll' replies (with absolutely no feedback, just empty/space-wasting replies), they were weeded out prior to the making of this thread so that it didn't impact the overall stats/feedback. Sincerely, ~The Staff Team.
  3. Big thanks to everybody for their feedback~
  4. Nice guide, always nice to see players helping players~
  5. Happy to see you on the forums, hope you've had a nice time so far, and that tool looks funky useful!~
  6. This suggestion is for the Uncharted Isles. For those who don't know, Uncharted Isles are a part of the Player Owned Ports 'minigame' in RS3. I am not going to suggest "full" Player Owned Ports, since that is overly complicated in my opinion with little to no return - as we have it, is perfectly fine. Uncharted Isles are procedurally generated Islands with different content on them each time you decide to explore one. If procedurally generated Islands are too far of a reach (due to mapping), then perhaps a base set of Islands - with the resources & inhabitants themselves being randomized. Think something like Dungeoneering, but instead of rooms - an island, should be simple enough to understand it that way. For this suggestion, I'd like to suggest that the Travelling Merchant stock Uncharted Island Maps in every shop restocking, with no limit on daily purchases (for the Map specifically, exactly how there is currently the 25 Vis Wax stocked in every shop right now). This can be shown to The Partner in the Player-Owned-Ports hub to embark to an Uncharted Island. Depending on the players' total level - the voyage they go on will be of different "lengths". Less than 1000: Short Junket: Leads to islands with 1-2 special resource. 1000 to 1850: Median Expedition: Leads to islands with 3–4 special resources. 1851 and above: Long Voyage: Leads to islands with 5 special resources. "Voyages" are not a one-way trip, once you have started a Voyage, you are free to leave and do other things - you can then rejoin that Voyage at any time. Island resources, though, are depletable. On an Island, if there are Bamboo for example - and you do cut that Bamboo, once it depletes then they will not respawn on that Island/Voyage, regardless of how long you wait. A player can only embark on one Voyage at any given time, if you are already on one - you must cancel that Voyage to start a new one. Islands will also have specific inhabitants (monsters) such as: Armoured zombies Crassian scouts Crassian warriors Death Lotus rogues Eastern soldiers Flying jellyfish Gu ronins Scorpions Seasinger priestess Skeletons Skulls mercenaries Tormented souls Zombies (can be found with armoured zombies) As a custom feature, players should be allowed to pay The Partner to hire mercenaries to get rid of combat-based inhabitants on their islands at a cost (for the Skillers out there). The regular resources that Islands can spawn are also extremely nice, considering they provide some of the best EXP rates in the game. Bamboo resources, which can be cut for Bamboo at 90 Woodcutting, and can be fletched into Bundles of Bamboo at 96 Fletching. Salty Crablets which can be mined at 90 Mining for Sea Salt, and Idol Crablets which can be mined at 98 Mining for a Golden Idol. Exuberry Bushes which can be harvested with 86 Farming to obtain Exuberries. Kami & Orakami which can be captured barehanded or with Impling Jars at 90 and 95 Hunter respectively. Tortles which can be humanely trapped to remove their Shell Clippings, which can be crafted into Tortle Shell Bowls at 90 Hunter, and 91 Crafting respectively. Fishing Spots containing Raw tarpon, Raw seerfish, and Raw sillago which can be fished at a minimum of 90 Fishing for Tarpon, then requiring 91 Fishing to obtain Seerfish, and 92 Fishing to obtain Sillago. Raw tarpon, Raw seerfish, and Raw sillago can be turned into Fish oil at 91 Cooking. Occasionally, Islands may also hold Special Resources - they are EXTREMELY rewarding, but much rarer. Golden Bamboo resources which can be cut for Golden Bamboo at 96 Woodcutting, which can be fletched into triple the amount of Bundles of Bamboo than regular Bamboo can, at 96 Fletching. Alaea Crablets which can be mined at 97 Mining for Alaea Sea Salt, used in the creation of the Blessed Flask, and also used in the recipe for Uncooked Shark Soup at 96 Crafting, and 96 Cooking respectively. Dead Moai are statues that will spawn either Positive, Negative, or Ancestral divination springs which can be harvested for Positive, Negative, or Ancestral energies requiring 90, 90, and 95 Divination respectively. Positive Energies are used in the creation of the Blessed Flask, Harvesting Positive Energies with the Negative Energies in the inventory will convert both into Ancestral Energies, and Ancestral Energies can be used for creation and transmutation of a number of items with the Invention skill. Mushroom Clusters which can be harvested at 94 Farming, which can yield numerous mushrooms which can be cut into Sliced Mushrooms at 86 Cooking or they can turned into Mushy Mush with no requirement. Ornate Tortles which can be humanely trapped to remove their Shiny Shell Clippings, which can be crafted into Shiny Tortle Shell Bowls at 96 Hunter, and 92 Crafting respectively. Raw Wobbegongs which can be found in fishing spots (which exclusively give ONLY Wobbegongs) on Uncharted Isles, which can be turned into Wobbegong Oil at 96 in both Fishing and Cooking respectively. Treasure Chests may occasionally be found washed ashore which can contain a number of resources. ALL of the resources obtained from the above can be sold on Waiko for Chimes, with the Special Resources being worth more. It is also worth noting that activities on Uncharted Isles should yield the BEST experience methods of the skills featured (whether by a barely noticeable, or very noticeable difference). For this iteration of Uncharted Isles, I will specifically leave out Contracting, Claiming Islands, and Customising Islands. Specifically because I want this to initially be some extra PVMing and Skilling content - with the possibility of claiming & customising an Island being implemented in the future, always up to Sand to decide. Thanks for checking out my suggestion, I love compiling information together like this so I'm always happy to throw suggestions out there for content that I think can be enjoyable for all players.
  7. Keep your eyes on the prize! All the love my bby~
  8. Welcome to the forums, glad to know you're enjoying the server! See you around Monty!
  9. Pleasure to see you here Soulcist, welcome to the forums-side of Velheim. I hope you greatly enjoy your stay here!~
  10. Always a pleasure to see more introductions, I hope you continue to enjoy your time here!~
  11. To be specific, it's not that they reset weekly - it's that new players are instantly given 5 daily challenges on account creation instead of 1, thus new players have to wait until the 6th day after creation to get their next daily challenge.
  12. Welcome to the forums, have seen you around plenty, always nice to see!~
  13. Always great to see an introduction, welcome to the forums side of Velheim!~
  14. I would also say that adding the Curses, Ancients, and Lunars codexes to the ticket exchange would also be beneficial in the long-run. Having them from two sources means that players can hold Loyalty Points for Ancients, and then grind for Curses instead, rather than having to wait for both of them. On this note, if possible, perhaps also a 'Seren Prayers' codex which would unlock; Dark Form, Soul Link, Teamwork Protection, Superheat Form, and Fortitude. I guess this is more of a suggestion so I'll put it all in a Spoiler Tag.
  15. On the note of this, having the tickets themselves be un-tradeable - with the "Buff Tokens" being available with both tradeable and untradeable versions (untradeable would be cheaper since no need to trade, think the same concept as Bonds needing to be converted) would probably be the best case? This means that players can't simply buy the tickets, to buy all the cosmetics in the shop, or have friends funnel all their tickets into a single player - instead these cosmetics would have a more "achieving" feel to them.
  16. List of possible rewards for the Burn Shop (with so many in this list, they could be put elsewhere too); (I've already compiled all the Item IDs & Npc IDs for the below, so all that's done) Cosmetics: Sunfury T1 (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots, Cape, Shield) Sunfury T2 (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots, Cape, Shield) Lunarfury T1 (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots, Cape, Maul, Shieldbow, Staff) Lunarfury T2 (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots, Cape, Maul, Shieldbow, Staff) Death Lotus Disciple (White, Red, Black Blue) Death Lotus Weapon Overrides Aurora Weaponry (Long, OH Long, 2h, Halberd, Baxe, OH Baxe, Scim, OH Scim, Wh, OH Wh, Scythe) Battleworn Steel Armour (Helm, Plate, Legs, Gloves, Boots) Arteria (2h Sword) Blightreaver (Sword, Empowered Sword, Staff, Empowered Staff) Defender of the Mind Armour (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots, Shield, Cape, Wings) Defender of the Mind Weaponry (Sword, Offhand Sword, 2H Sword) Faceless Assassin (Blue, Green, Red, Black) Dark Crystal Armour (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots, 2h Sword) Dragonkin Imperial Armour (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots) Hefin Ranger Armour (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots) Iorwerth Warrior Armour (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots) Mourner (Mask, Cape) Stasis (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots) Stasis Weapons (Xbow, Bow, Staff, Axe, Mace, Throwing Axe, OH Throwing Axe, Javelin, OH Javelin) Thunder's Weaponry (2h Sword, MH Sword, OH Sword) Stormbourn Armour (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots) Black Necronium Armour (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots, MH Axe, OH Axe, 2H Axe, Shield) Grotesque Armours T1/T2/T3 (Helm, Chest, Legs, Gloves, Boots, Cape, Wings) Legendary Pets: Water Lycan Companion Pets: Angelic Inari (Part of the Defender of the Mind set) Zenn Agama Fairy Drake Shadow Fairy Drake Others: Protean Packs (I think it's fine considering the amounts from packs was nerfed) Bags of Components (Small, Large) Research: Potion Reservoir (this would be the ability to make the Potion Reservoir) Premier Artefact
  17. My only input would be that perhaps that the tokens could be available in both untradeable, and tradeable versions, with the latter being more expensive. I also honestly think the Attack Speed Increase would be a bit too busted - even if just by 1 tick for example, perhaps something like a small % damage reduction could be more appropriate (live longer = deal more damage?). Edit: Aura Refreshes would also be a good add to this list. also cosmetics pls i love fashion
  18. Updated: @NubonmyPC resigned. /Update 27th August. @Broy00 Added to Trial Support.
  19. 200m Prayer, only 800m from EXP capping everything
  20. I believe I am missing probably 20-40 of each herb, 3k bloods and about 8k deaths since I dropped all at some point. Should you do this? Probably not. I guess its worth it for all the herb boxes from herbivore, and the runes are hella nice but its just so tedious to do it.
