Update Log #138 - Dungeoneering Tasks/Hard Mode

As always this update log contains all ninja log changes.

Achievement Diaries

  • Added a 'Generic Tasks' entry in the Diaries sub-interface displaying information about Miscellaneous tasks, ie.: Everything is Oresome progress, Meilyr potions, Masterwork Smithing progress, etc.;
  • Fully added the 'Daemonheim' tasks list with all NPC dialogues, rewards and unlocks. This diary entry will have to be completed for the Completionist Cape;
  • Added the 'Daemonheim Aura' with most of its original RuneScape effects. The aura cannot be manually turned on, but will automatically equip once you enter a floor;
  • Tier 1 aura: 5 daily revives inside dungeons;
  • Tier 2 aura: Ava's backpack effect for ranged, bones are automatically buried (bonecrusher effect), can now bind a potion, the smuggler will provide 40 law and cosmic runes every floor start;
  • Tier 3 aura: Additional 2 slots to bind items;
  • Tier 4 aura: Buried/crushed bones restore 20 prayer points (40 for (Frost) Dragon bones), 10% discount at the Smuggler;


  • You can now use Bones and Ashes on Altars found inside dungeons;
  • Added all shields and orbs to leather/cloth Crafting menus;
  • You can now un-equip your Ring of Kinship and close the Minigame tab inside dungeons;
  • Fixed the Magic spell-book filter and toggle options. It will also no longer 'bug out' after leaving your current dungeon and will properly refresh its values;
  • Fixed multiple NPC attack animations;
  • You can now have 2 additional items bound after completing the Hard Dameonheim diaries, also changed the Bound item interface;
  • Potions can now be bound;
  • Party leaders who have completed the Elite Daemonheim tasks set will now be able to start hard mode Dungeon floors. More of that explained below;

Dungeoneering Hard Mode:

  • Higher possibility of Slayer creatures spawning
  • Less food drops;
  • All room doors are now classified as 'guardian doors';
  • Higher NPC combat level multipliers and more spawns per player;
  • Teams with 1-2 players will always be put in a medium size dungeon and teams with more than 2 players will always be put in large dungeons;
  • Difficulty ratio will always be at the highest level;
  • Pre-share/guide mode/tutorials will be disabled;
  • EXP multiplier (and token ratio) for Hard Mode floors will be increased by 50%;
  • Added chat-box messages for floor completions stating the current floor and the lowest incomplete floor;
  • Hard Mode progress cannot be reset;
  • Players who complete all 60 floors in Hard Mode will receive a World broadcast as well as the ability to use the 'of Daemonheim' Loyalty title. This is now a requirement for the Trimmed Completionist cape;
  • Players can now check their Hard Mode progress at Thok just outside Daemonheim;


  • You can now change Shark Fist item variants, as well as generate their off-hand versions;
  • The Tarn's Lair can now be accessed from the Abandoned Mine entrance. Added Terror Dog spawns, and gave them their drops and animations;
  • Nex's Minion incoming damage reduction has been increased from 100 to 250;
  • Added Kerapac's kill-count requirement for the Final Boss title unlocked from Soul Reaper. Kill-counts will now also properly sum up from hard-mode encounters;
  • Kerapac is now classed as a group boss thus ironman game-mode players will be able to join in with non-restrictive game-mode players;
  • Increased the highest possible amount of Glacor remnants you can receive from Arch-Glacor encounters;
  • Cosmetic Overrides can no longer directly be purchased from the Cosmetic Overrides interface. Cosmetics will now be awarded through various gameplay mechanics in future updates;
  • Completely rewrote how our Discord BOT functions, bugs are to be expected so please ;;bug them if you find any;
  • Increased the rare item drop rate from Croesus;


  • The Scripture of Jas effect will now end correctly. Also added a fail-safe for any future errors for all other timed effects;
  • You'll now be able to pass the Frozen door in the God Wars dungeon 1 without the need to have a Frozen key on you after completing the 'Most Expensive Doorstop' achievement;
  • You may now repair used Ek-Zekkil's and Fractured staves of Armadyl;
  • Invention Machine inventories will now be checked against for the global playerHasItem check;
  • Igneous Stones will now give all of the special materials as disassembling a rare Elite Dungeon relic;
  • The first weapon piece drop from TzKal-Zuk and Kerapac the bound will now be chosen at random instead of the same order for everyone. The following pieces will, however, be in order;
  • Corrected the Slayer Shop item stocks;
  • Added an inventory check when crafting Sirenic equipment just in-case the player does not have a free inventory slot;
  • Fixed an issue when creating flatpacks that also require additional items on top of planks not being removed from player's inventory;
  • Invention Disassembly machines will now correctly account for the items remaining in the inventory in each iteration;
  • Rex Matriarch acid will no longer continue hitting you while you're in a 'locked' state;
  • The Keenblade's special attack will now deal melee damage;
  • Corrected the reputation gain for Menaphos when using Menaphite gift offering items;
  • The Chaos Elemental will no longer use its stun mechanic (removed completely);
  • Having the Volcanic Trapper Outfit equipped will now increase the Big Chinchompa mini-games moth collection points by +50%;
  • Fixed the Catalyst of Alteration not properly giving multiple sealed clue scrolls even though the chat-box showed multiple amounts;
  • Fixed the Engraved Sarcophagus in Pyramid Plunder mini-game not resetting its visual state upon mini-game start. Also fixed an issue with not being able to proceed the spear traps in the first room;
  • Fixed the 'Final Boss' titles not being able to be unlocked even though you had all the kills required for it in hard-mode encounters.
