Pre-EoC combat, modern content
Velheim keeps the combat system from before the Evolution of Combat, and builds newer content around it: 28 skills including Divination, Invention and Archaeology, skilling pets, new areas and regular updates.
Many skills go up to level 120, from the combat skills to Slayer, Dungeoneering, Invention and Archaeology. Every skill has its own hiscores.

55 boss encounters are live, each with kill counts and best times on the boss hiscores.

Game modes and worlds
Play as a regular account or take on Ironman, Hardcore Ironman, Ultimate Ironman or Group Ironman. A Classic XP mode is available too, and the Legacy World also has a Novice mode.
There are two worlds, each with its own hiscores, boss rankings and player profiles: the Fresh Start World and the long-running Legacy World.
World events
Evil Tree, Shooting Star, Guthixian Cache, Wilderness Warbands, the Travelling Merchant, WildyWyrm, Mega Duck and Menaphos events run on a timer. See what is on now in the event schedule.
On the Fresh Start World, every 200 server votes start a Global Vote Party and every 500 summon the Vote Boss. Follow the count on the vote page.
