  1. Staff Members @Sandstorm Positives: Does really really hard work all of the time, always on top of everything and fixes every single bug report I send very swiftly, also really cares about his game and community. I truly don't know how this man manages to do everything he does, truly a legend. Negatives: From what I've seen it seems like he never actually tests balancing updates before releasing them (at least none of the PvM balancing updates from what I can see and a few other people I talk with have mentioned this to me as well) @Nhs Positives: Very friendly, always fast responding Negatives: Nothing I can think of. @Iron Tyrone Positives: Always active somewhere whether in-game, discord or the forums always seems to be doing something somewhere. Negatives: Nothing bad @Zero Two Positives: Very active, always helping out Negatives: Not really anything bad @Bjorn (Supremez) Positives: Great guy, very active, always positive Negatives: no bads, only goods @Lokai (Maxamillion) Positives: Don't know much about them but seems nice and helpful so far. Negatives: Nothing from what I've seen so far. Server Changes I liked: The huge amount of bug fixes was nice, and I'm really excited for the grace of the elves options and interface fix coming up. I'm not a big fan of doing area tasks, but those are pretty cool to see rolling into the game, I am curious to see how the upgraded keris is going to be once desert tasks will be released. Changes I disliked: If I'm honest, I'm quite disappointed with where PvM is heading as of lately and I haven't really been feeling like playing due to this reason. I liked Velheim for being like a chill rs3 but now with all these recent pvm updates it's starting to feel more and more like just rs3 and at that point I might as well just play rs3 instead. Changes I'd like to see: I'd like to see a consistent beta-testing team to try out balance changes and upcoming content before they come out and give out constructive feedback and report bugs. I feel like this way big day1 bugs would be less likely to pop out of nowhere and it would help with the overall balancing of the game in my opinion.
  2. With PoF recently being released, I have noticed recently that A LOT of people don't know of the new potions that come with PoF. So,I have decided to make a short list. Also, some of these don't work, I will mention whether or not I have tested if the potion works or not. If I forgot any potion feel free to let me know in the comments, I will edit the post and add them to the list! Also feel free to let me know if anything that I have yet to have tested whether or not it works and I will also update that info here. Please note: Currently, from what I tested, I do not believe there are any overworld shops that actually sell powerburst or bomb vials (at least none of the shops I can access as an ironman), but you can however make those types of vials from molten glass. Anyways, here's my short but simple sum-up to the herblore potions introduced with pof Hope this helps! Powerbursts Powerbursts are potions that will offer you a short buff, these all trigger a global cooldown of 2 minutes. Powerburst of Vitality [Doubles maximum and current life points for 6 seconds] - Powerburst Vial - Primal Extract - 2x Poison Slime - Saradomin Brew (4) - Rocktail [Confirmed to be working properly] Powerburst of Masterstroke [For the next four hammer swings within 30 seconds, Smithing progress is multiplied by 10] - Powerburst Vial - Primal Extract - 3x Runite Stone Spirit - 3x Necrite Stone Spirit - 2x Bottled Dinosaur Roar [Will not let you drink it.] Powerburst of Acceleration [The cooldown of Surge and Bladed Dive is instantly reset and is 1.2 seconds for the next six seconds] - Powerburst Vial - Primal Extract - Stamina Potion (4) - Energy Potion (4) - 2x Spark Chitin [Will not let you drink it.] Powerburst of Sorcery [For the next runes crafted within 10 seconds, the 'runes per essence' multiplier is doubled] - Powerburst Vial - Primal Extract - Super Runecrafting (4) - 5x Blood Rune - 2x Beak Snot [Confirmed working. Credits: Move Right for ingredients & Supremez for testing] Powerburst of Feats [The familiar's special move costs no special move points for ten seconds] - Powerburst Vial - Primal Extract - Clean Snapdragon - Summoning Potion (4) - 2x Bottled Dinosaur Roar [Confrimed working. Tested by: Supremez] Potion Bombs Potion bombs are potions in which you can throw at your target to apply a status effect on them. Sticky Bomb: [Creates a 3x3 area for 6 seconds that binds targets standing in it] - Bomb Vial - Primal Extract - 2x Beak Snot - 2x Dinosaur Claws - Clean Cadantine [Working but: Seems to be buggy for certain mobs it will freeze their movement animation but they can still move but it does in fact work at aod reavers as long as you throw it right as they spawn. It also seems to have a shorter root time than entangle.] Poison Bomb: [Creates a 3x3 area for 6 seconds that poisons targets standing in it] - Bomb Vial - Primal Extract - Clean Irit - 2x Poison Slime - Weapon Poison++ (4) [Confirmed working. Applies a small poison with damage similar to cinderbane poison.] Vulnerability Bomb: [Creates a 3x3 area for 1.8 seconds that applies the Vulnerability effect to targets stood in it] - Bomb Vial - Primal Extract - 5x Soul Runes - 5x Chaos Runes - 2x Bottled Dinosaur Roar - Clean Dwarf Weed [The bomb does go off, I believe it applies something but definitely isn't the same 10% damage from all sources increase like rs3. I believe it is applying the rs2 version of vuln which has similar effects to a gstaff spec.] Regular Potions Weapon poison+++ [upgraded version of weapon poison++] - Weapon poison++ (3) - Poison Slime - Primal extract [Currently doesn't work. Will show up in buff bar, but target will never get poisoned.] Charming Potion [Increases the base number of charms dropped by a monster by 1 for 6 minutes] - Primal extract - 4 x Gold Charm - 4 x Green Charm - 4 x Crimson Charm - 4 x Blue Charm - Spark Chitin [Working but instead of doing +1 charm it actually doubles all charms.] Adrenaline Renewal Potion [Increases adrenaline by 4% per tick for ten ticks (six seconds), granting a total of 40% adrenaline] - Primal Extract - Super adrenaline potion (4) - 2x Bottled Dinosaur Roar - Clean Arbuck [Not testable. Adrenaline crystals don't exist therefore super adrenaline pot is not creatable.] Obtaining new ingredients Bottled Roar [Obtained from Rex type dinos (Bagarda Rex, Pavosaurus Rex, Corbicula Rex and all their breeding variants)] -> Dinos obtained in-game by: Hunting ANY* anachronia npcs Dinosaur Claws [Obtained from a certain Varanusaur type dinosaurs (Varanusaur, Feral or Ripper)] -> Dinos obtained in-game by: Slaying Feral or Ripper dinosaurs (Task doesn't increase chance) Poison Slime [Obtained from certain varanasaurs (venomous, or shiny variant) or frogs (easiest method)] -> Dinos obtained in-game by Slaying Venomous Dinosaurs -> Frogs obtained in game for 100 beans each Spark Chitin [Obtained from Brutish, Asciatops, Malletops, Scimitops, and all their variants] -> Brutish dinos obtained in-game by killing Brutish Dinosaurs -> All other dinos obtained from hunting ANY* anachronia NPCs Beak Snot [Obtained from any Apoterrasaur type dinosaur (Arcane, Oculi, Spicati)] -> Dinos obtained from hunting ANY* anachronia NPCs (*butterfly hunting in anachronia doesn't appear to work at the moment for obtaining dinosaurs from my testing so far)
  3. This is amazing!!! I can't wait to use my eof everywhere now! Gonna have to work on getting more junk for more eofs now! Thanks for all your hard work Sandstorm
  4. I understand this was supposed to balance out the Hexhunter bow, but this really hurt the Upgraded Bone Blowpipe. It already has a fairly high chance to miss even though it's supposed to have t90 accuracy but it definitely splashes a whole lot more than a Nox bow. The double hit really helped it to balance that out, now it just feels like it's t70 instead of t87 and even t70 is a bit of a stretch. On top of that, it has a drastically lower range than most ranged weapons. Last update, along with the poison fix; has really made the blowpipe finally shine, and it's really a shame to see it being so useless already Other than that little bit, I think this is a great update! Looking forward to doing the Valentine's event, and maybe try making the new teletabs at home. Always appreciate your work, Sandstorm
