  1. This guide is ironman friendly, and also used for getting a bullseye lantern for the Falador Medium Achievement Diary. A Bullseye lantern is a light source item which can illuminate darkened areas. It is made by lighting a bullseye lantern (oil), which requires 49 Firemaking. It can be extinguished to give back the unlit lantern. It requires 20 Smithing to make the steel frame and 49 Crafting to make the glass lens. The Lamp oil used for fuel is obtained by distilling swamp tar in the chemist's house in Rimmington. This will create a bullseye lantern (oil). After filling the lantern with Lamp oil a player must left-click "Light" to light the lantern. STEEL FRAME (BULLSEYE LANTERN FRAME) LANTERN LENS FINAL TOUCHES HOW TO GET THERE I hope that this guide for how to make Bullseye Lantern (ironman friendly). I WILL BE UPDATING THIS GUIDE TIME TO TIME, IF NEEDED.
  2. Hello there everyone, here is a little mini-guide on where to hand in Chronicle fragments, been quite a few that keeps asking, so I decided to make a little guide on it. The Chronicle fragments are received from training divination. Note that you can only have up to 30 before you have to hand them in to be able to get more, you get a little bit of extra Divination experience from handing them in, for many not really worth it, but if you decide to hand them in, follow these steps: I hope that this guide for where to hand in Chronicle fragments has helped you out. I WILL BE UPDATING THIS GUIDE TIME TO TIME, IF NEEDED.
  3. There is alot of people who asks in general, and I didn't see a guide, so I thought why not add it to the forums. So here is a little guide, and this is simply just a quick way to get to the Travelling Merchant. Spawns every 4 hour, and lasts for 10 minutes. Also I recommend for those who use Discord to check in server-events to check recent spawn. Note that it is required to have a Fishing level of atleast 68 to be able to enter, also can only loot one time per day, even thought you haven't looted before, it won't change the current days stock. Start off by doing CTRL+T, Portal at home or clicking on your Home teleportation (found at your minimap, also see pictures below, click the button inside the purple square). Then it would look something like this, proceed by clicking the purple square which is for the Fishing teleportations. Then next you want to click on the purple rectangle, and then click teleport now, which will teleport you right outside the Fishing guild (see picture below). Then you want to open the gates and follow the purple path, then Goomah should be around the purple circle, or next to the noticeboard ingame. Click travel Goomah to proceed, (like in the picture below). Now you want to follow the purple path again untill you come to the purple circle, (as shown in the picture below). Then it should look something like this, and also I put in a extra picture, just how the shop could look like, (see pictures below). Note that this is random from day to day, and the amount is different aswell. I hope that this guide for how to get to Travelling Merchant has helped you out. I WILL BE UPDATING THIS GUIDE TIME TO TIME, IF NEEDED.
  4. This is a guide for people who want to get 4K Chompy Bird kills, for the Award on the Forums, or if it is for their personal achievements. So with just having your ogre bow and ogre arrows equipped, you can get over 500+ Chompy bird kills an hour. It will take you around 8 hours (MAX) to complete. This is with using aggression potions and enhanced Excalibur. I suggest using aggression potions, and enhanced Excalibur for an more AFK method. Obviously not needed, but I wouldn't recommend attacking all 4K Chomby birds manually. Also will make it less annoying, with the aggression potions that is. You can also use a cannon with cannonballs for more and efficient kills per hour. Also if you want to go the extra mile, I suggest wearing armour like warpriest, or even lower tier. (I didn't use any personally, as I didn't see the need with the heals you get from the enhanced Excalibur). Also you could bring the Bonecrusher, for the extra chance of receiving the ghostly pet (if you don't own it already), whilst going for the 4K Chompy bird kills. See the pictures below to find out how to get there, and to buy ogre bow and ogre arrows. There will also be a picture showing you where to stand, even thought it isn't really needed. Just standing around where the Chompy birds is located and having aggression potion effect active is more than enough. I hope that this guide for the Chompy birds has helped you out. I WILL BE UPDATING THIS GUIDE TIME TO TIME, IF NEEDED.

  7. The most common issue is that you're in Safe Mode You can check this, by going into Options - Display - Custom - Display Mode Try changing the display mode to one of the other. Recommended to use DirectX or OpenGL. Also try to changing between Fixed and Resizeable screen (Has worked for some players). If you're unable to change, log out and try in the menu. (Top right corner - Custom) If that still doesn't work then you have a couple of options; - Reload the Client and when it's still checking/fetching for updates - Press the 'S' key on your keyboard a couple of times to force a mode change, then change the graphics mode in the login screen; - Resetting the cache folder & all related 'Velheim' files in your User Folder (Disclaimer you may have more folders/files depending on your version) - Getting rid of all your existing java versions and getting the 1.8.x 64 bit Java How to uninstall current Java Download Link for 64bit java, Windows https://java.com/en/download/windows-64bit.jsp Alternative solution: Make sure that majority of the cache has been downloaded If you still are having issues contact a Staff Member.
  8. The Falador achievements are a group of Area Tasks subcategories relating to Falador and its surrounding area. These are Redbeard Frank in Port Sarim, the Chemist in Rimmington, and Squire Asrol in the White Knights' Castle, respectively. Easy Medium Hard Elite
  9. Some players have had this issue where the player screen doesn't fit the screen and thus the mouse doesn't click where you want it to click. Solution First try the Velheim Luancher If that doesn't work follow the steps below: Right click the Velheim.jar file and click properties In the Security tab make sure that all permissions are selected to allow, on each respective user/group name Now go to General tab make sure that the jar file opens with JAVA platform If it opens in something else like displayed below eg. OpenJDK platform, then that's the issue. Uninstall your current version of Java Located java and right click it and uninstall. (If you for whatever reason have more than one java, uninstall them all.) (Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features) Then download and install the correct version below Download Link for 64bit java, Windows https://java.com/en/...ndows-64bit.jsp If the issue still occurs contact a staff member
  10. Client Crash Fix STEP ONE: Uninstall/Remove The following 3 things Cache. Velheim client Java Cache This can easily be done by searching for "Velheim" in your search bar or go to your Userfolder. Remove everything Velheim Related. (Disclaimer you may have more folders/files depending on your version) Java You can uninstall java by going into Control Panel. You can find Control panel in system or Searching "Control Panel" into the search bar. (In your native language) Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features Located java and right click it and uninstall. (If you for whatever reason have more than one java, uninstall them all.) STEP TWO: It's Highly recommended to use 64bit java over 32bit java. This is usually the main issue of crashes. How to check if you running 64bit or 32bit java Make sure you have the Latest verison of Java (Version 8, update 251 as of 13/05-2020) Download Link for 64bit java, Windows https://java.com/en/download/windows-64bit.jsp (You MUST uninstall & remove all old JAVA versions.) Already have 64bit but not the latest Version? STEP THREE: Once Java has been installed (1.8.251): Download Velheim Link: https://velheim.com/resources/files/Velheim718.jar Open Velheim and let everything load in. (Meaning it will take a while for the cache to download from the Server which may cause lags or other issues.) How to see the progress on cache downloading. Other Method (Edit 30/04/2022) Thanks to @zaccur for bringing this to my attention - from @Iron Tyrone 1. With the Velheim JAR client closed, go to the start menu and search "Configure Java" 2. Go into the Java Tab 3. Click on view > In the user tab, double click on the field under Runtime Parameters and enter -Xmx4096m If you're using Mac, try this.

  12. Wilderness Warbands is a dangerous Distraction and Diversion, composed of heavily defended storage camps guarded by the followers of the different Gods, though they fight more for glory and not for the gods themselves. These camps are founded to gain an advantage for the followers of a particular God once their God returns. They will set up camp in the Wilderness every seven hours, one time at each of the three locations. Quercus, an ancient seer ent, will send out adventurers to fight in the camps to balance the followers of the different Gods in Guthix's name. Quercus can be found just outside the Varrock Grand Exchange agility shortcut. Wilderness Warbands give large amounts of experience in Farming, Construction, Herblore, Mining, or Smithing. While no combat is necessary and no items are needed to loot, it is still recommended to have a high combat level before attempting a warband as any player can attack a player whose inventory contains any warband supplies. (PVP) Looting a warband tent will skull players. Players are advised to not bring any items that they do not wish to lose.
