Welcome (back) to Velheim! Glad to have you with us.

    Cute cat 🥰

I’ve bribed you with pictures of my cat for multiple years now.

I've received not one but TWO separate H’weens from you in exchange for illicit cat pics.

  2. Hello!  My name is Happy L, I joined in 2020.  I've taken a few pretty long breaks between playing and I'm (yet again) back.   My previous name (playing before 2023) was Iron Agnes.

Here are some fun facts about me

    • I love cats, have a picture of my cat.  (Check my signature, her name is Gaia)
    • I'm recent married this year, my wife and I wed in April on the 15th.  I took her name.
    • I work at a retail convenience store in a district position, which if you knew me when I played before that is a MASSIVE step up.  At the moment I have 3 stores, but we're opening up another this month and by 2025 my district will have 11 stores.   Anyway, you can say I'm very passionate about my job.
    • My favorite RS boss is Croesus, if I'm online there's a good possibility I'm doing Croesus.  #guidedropwhen
    • My pronouns are they/them but I don't bite.
    • I'm very satisfied with my position in the company that I'm at, however my REAL passion is music.  I'm a big metal head, my library includes over 2,200 metal or metal related CD's valued at over $20,000.  I also have (most) of that put into Spotify playlists sorted by year of album release.  (Dating back to 1990, spotify didn't have a lot of the ones I've got before 90', they may now though.  I should look and update my playlists.)
    • Every year my buddy and I do a top 30 albums of the year.  (Usually we both buy about 30 CD's by the end of the year but every few years we have upwards of 40-50!)
    • I couldn't possibly name my "favorite band", but I would say that some of my top favorites are probably...
      • Borknagar
      • Allegaeon
      • Mors Principium Est
      • Soilwork
      • Dio
      • King Diamond
      • Rivers of Nihil
      • That's just to name a few!
    • The account that I play on is a Group Ironman.

Gear set up is a bit off, salve ammy from vote shop stacks with ghost hunter so it should always be worn in ammy slot.

High level set up should not use the ghost hunter body, instead use a t90/92 body slot with crackling and then use the ghost hunter backpack as the 3rd piece of the set bonus, as having a cape is less bonus and defence then using a body slot.

You dont main the luck ring either, use a asylum ring or rod as your combat ring and switch the luck ring at the chest.

So, unless @Sandstorm specifically custom designed the Salve amulet to work against them it does not.  The reason for this is because technically speaking the brothers aren't undead, they are reanimated by a curse placed upon them by Sliske.

Here's the full list of enemies affected by Both the Salve amulet and the Salve amulet (e)

The set up wasn't meant to be the absolute best possible set up, it was meant to be "High Level".  If you would like to take a picture with the items you've listen above I'd be happy to add a "Best in Slot" section for it, however, this is what I run personally.  I do not have any better rings, nor do I plan to change how I go about doing ROTS.

That being said, no offense here, just a friendly reply.  Thank you for your feedback.

Firstly, I DO NOT recommend even considering doing ROTS without Ghost hunters armor.  It can be done, easily even, however the armor makes it so much faster and easier that doing it without the armor would just be dumb.  Not to mention inconvenient for whoever you're doing it with.  Wearing 1 piece will increase damage dealt to ghost like creatures (ROTS) by 3%, 2 pieces will increase damage by 6%, and 3 pieces will increase damage dealt by 10%.

10% is the highest damage increase from the set, so it is not recommended to use all 4 pieces of the full outfit.

I also VERY higher recommend bringing a Divine Spirit shield.  1157581494_Screenshot2021-10-31221825.png.eac11efd6c33a631f6fa9f72566cc08d.png

    • Ghost Hunters Helmet, Body and Legs
    • Seismic Wand
    • Seismic Singularity
    • Amulet of Souls (Essence of Finality with an Eldritch Crossbow spec works like a DREAM here)

In order to start the fight you must have a Barrows Totem 1344320354_Screenshot2021-10-31224858.png.cf4b4190bd04d9b8daea3902539ac579.png These can be obtained from regular barrows, as a semi rare drop.  They can also be purchased from other players

As it says above, you must have at least 2 players in order to fight ROTS, I'll explain more about that below.

    401775629_Screenshot2021-10-31222305.png.5243708104145b20767058525043c6ed.png

Once you're inside the room, you have to stand on a plate, there are 4 total plates, (Up to 4 players) Once a player is standing on a plate on both sides, you may start the encounter.

    340243922_Screenshot2021-10-31222337.png.27112378e4c8c73d9425f376544f65ee.png

After you and one other person (At the least) begin the encounter, you will enter into the room and stand directly next to the anomaly.  Located in the middle of the room.  Once you click the anomaly, it will ask if you are ready and once you accept, the brothers will spawn.

    1820263717_Screenshot2021-10-31222421.png.fe6ad87905b242aac002b0da36017c6e.png

Three brothers will spawn on each side of the room in a random order.  You could get any possible combination of the six, so be sure to pay attention to that.  The most important Brother you need to pay attention to is Dharok.

    1596831920_Screenshot2021-10-31230110.png.c53fc96d0c0b7de5714dd69f46eb1256.png

You need to stack the brothers on top of each other in order to deal AOE damage to them with Blood Barrage.  Your Zamorak Book will also deal AOE Damage as well.

It generally doesn't matter which side you stack them on, however if you get BOTH Ahrim and Karil, always stand behind Karil with Ahrim facing you.  The reason for this is that Ahrim has the ability to Surge, but his surge can move only through NPC's, not players.  So when he does it, he will surge right on top of Karil, enabling you to deal damage to both while also making the fight slightly easier.

    • Karil: has the ability to rain storms down upon the middle of the room, however while standing directly on the edge of the arena, you cannot get hit by this.  He also is able to teleport to the pillar location to the north-middle of the room. Only to player on the WEST half of the room is able to receive damage, or deal damage to Karil while he is up here.
    • Ahrim: has the ability to surge across the room, if you are not standing in front of him while he does this, his surge will go as far as 8 game spaces.  Which is a good half of the room at least.  He also has the ability to teleport directly to the middle of the room and launch an attack that sends out beams through his hands, with his arms spread wide apart.  He spins while he does this, and is capable of dealing heavy damage.  This attack can also be avoided simply by standing on the edge of the room.  (Or by any walls with, the closer you are to him, the more damage he will deal.)  Karil is ALSO capable of performing this attack, so watch out!  Ahrim is ALSO able to levitate, while ahrim is levitating, he has a 50% immunity to all magic attacks and TOTAL immunity to all melee attacks.
    • Verac's: attacks have a 1/8th chance to ignore the players armor, so he is capable of hitting heavy attacks.  He also has an attack called "Deathcopter", he will spin his flail around, dealing massive damage to any player in his way.  (DO NOT RUN AWAY) This attack does not deal significantly enough damage to be actually dangerous.
    • Torag: has a 1/8th chance to drain the players special attack bar by 5%.  He also has an ability called "Whack" where he leaps up into the air before crashing back down, generating such force that his target becomes stuck in the ground. He will then proceed to rapidly whack them.  Do not worry, you can still deal damage while in this state.
    • Guthan: has a 1/8th chance to heal upon attacking his target, his healing is equal to the full damage he deals with his attack.  He also has the ability to throws his warspear at a player who he is not attacking on his side, causing the spear to fly towards them; upon impact, the struck player is frozen for a brief second before taking heavy damage. Guthan will resort to punching his primary target, being unable to perform any special attacks, although they still maintain the same accuracy and damage as if he had his spear. When the impaled player is next to Guthan, they're frozen for another brief second as Guthan rips his spear out of them, also dealing heavy damage.
    • Dharok: As with regular Barrows, Dharok will deal more damage the lower his HP is.  So ALWAYS be aware of your hp, even if you feel you're safe, you could always get slapped for 700 damage then combo'd by the rest of the brothers.  Dharok has an ability called "Greatest Axe!" causing energy to flow to his axe. He will be put in a reprisal-like state for 10 seconds, in which he will absorb all damage taken; he does not take any actual damage in this state. Once he finishes his absorbing animation, Dharok will simply run to his target and swing his axe at them, dealing damage equal to the amount he absorbed, bypassing protection prayers/curses. It is still considered a standard melee attack and can be dealt with as such.  This ability will be triggered when Dharok yells out 641063930_Screenshot2021-10-31222750.png.3b784ed655f144fd362266997890377e.png This attack is capable of being one of the most fatal damaging abilities in the entire game, as it actually has NO cap on how much damage he is able to deal.  If you deal enough damage, he will simply one hit you no matter what you do.  This is where that DIvine Spirit shield comes in, as it has the ability to reduce damage at the cost of prayer points, however if you deal enough damage to him, he will still one hit you either way.  Running away from him seems to reduce the damage you will receive and keep in mind that his attack is capable of doing damage regardless of how much damage you actually deal.  This is the attack you have to watch out for each and every time you do ROTS.  When spawning the brothers, always be sure to agro onto Dharok first, no matter what combination you got.

782775489_Screenshot2021-10-31222841.png.3b69764a14e4ca21641ef24380a28435.png After each brother has been killed, you will receive a message saying 1806336931_Screenshot2021-10-31222649.png.e72fe1bed812298591eb522714c723db.png

The brother that has been slain will float in the air with a red bar above them, this bar slowly fills over time.  Each brother that is killed after (On either side) will reset this bar to empty and give you more time.  If this bar fills entirely, ALL slain brothers will revive and agro back on to you.  They will have all their original abilities and health.  Always make sure to kill them swiftly as you really do not want this to happen.

As you defeat all six brothers, the anomaly in the middle of the room will collapse and each side will be able to receive loot from the chest, located on the WEST half of the room.

    The rewards

    Spoiler

From defeating the shadow brothers, you can expect to receive the following:

This energy will start out at unstable whilst inside the encounter, if you die while inside, teleport out, or log out all unstable energy will instantly vanish.

    • Upon completion of the collection log for ROTS you will receive the 1678235663_Screenshot2021-10-31233457.png.2e32bcd480b6fe759fbc9e2db34c3c01.png Title.

When you pressure plates while leaving, the anomaly that collapsed becomes unstable, and causes the entire room to begin to fall apart.  It's now a race against time to escape.

There will be a set of three obstacles you must go through in order to escape.

    1259543419_Screenshot2021-10-31234319.png.8a38d9921b20d534d6b541b696686952.png

The first obstacle will be a vine, you must swing across the gap in the broken bridge.

    226994147_Screenshot2021-10-31234349.png.aeece917a745bd5a7af234e22b3ebd4a.png

The second obstacle is a stone you must jump across.  By this point, you will most likely be receiving damage from the room collapsing.  It is recommended to wield your Divine Spirit shield 1157581494_Screenshot2021-10-31221825.png.eac11efd6c33a631f6fa9f72566cc08d.png in order to reduce the damage you receive during this.

The third is yet another vine you must swing across.

Finally you must climb back up the rope you entered from.  This will take you back up to the surface.

Once at the surface, you will be safe and your Unstable Malevolent energy will have been converted into stable, usable malevolent energy.

There is a bank up here, available for players use in case you need to re gear.

  5. There's a few things I have to say about this and I'm going to try my best to be constructive without being insulting.

Firstly, lots of people had plenty good to say, you just didn't like or agree with them.

Secondly, undercutting has been an issue on here for a very very long time and while it is an issue, it's not the death of an entire economy.

Third, most of the people replying to this aren't the ones undercutting.  A perfect example to that is @foxx who can't stand undercutting and the way the GE works.

Fourth, skilling profits are not something you can ever expect to be as stable as PvM profits.  You barely work at all while making cannonballs and the demand for them come and go.  Whereas the demand for decent weapons/armor are ALWAYS constant.

Fifth, You absolutely can make plenty of cash through skilling, but you cannot expect that cash to be made instantly.  As I said above, the demand for skilling products are ever shifting and that's not a Velheim issue, that's a reality that has existed in RuneScape ever since it began.

Sixth, people do in fact have egos, that's a reality of humanism.  Some people absolutely will go as far as they can to defend their actions or the things they love/enjoy, which includes you.  There are plenty of people who have had valid arguments to what you're saying but you only agree with a few.  Sometimes it could seem like it's you against the world but just because those people are being a bit over the top doesn't mean what they are saying isn't true.  Yesterday you went off in the friends chat and I read many valid arguments to what you're saying by multiple people.  @NubonmyPC, @shiny shinx, @foxx All these people had great arguments to what you are saying but you chose to take them as ego driven insults.  Which Is on you, not them.

Finally, this is a small, but decent community, and you will learn that people are allowed an opportunity to voice their opinion.  But if you happen to voice that opinion in a channel that 100 people are able to see at one moment in time, there is going to be some arguments.  There are going to be people who disagree with you.  That's not Velheim, that's every rsps to ever exist.  Ever.  @ryandunn learned this the hard way and that's why he made the post he did.  He realized complaining in an nonconstructive manner in the friends chat wasn't going to change anything, it was just going to annoy people.  (No offense Ryan I still love ya)   You've been here for barely a month and a half and are arguing with people who have been here from 1-3 years.   Of course they are going to have strong opinions about it.  That's a reality of life.  No game is 100% absolutely amazingly perfect and no game ever will be.  You take the good with the bad and you roll with it.  You do your best to make that game better without shooting yourself in the foot.  Which from what I've seen, is just what you've done.

    So been thinking a little.

Introducing death cost is great. Since gear degrades/turn into dust upon death, with the ability to pay to insta-receive armour. It's overall a good money sinker. And more punishable to those who hard-afk.

Sirenic should be repaired with Sirenic scales, Unless it's dyed, otherwise it's gonna make dyes obsolete.

Tectonic should be repaired with tectonic energies. Unless it's dyed, otherwise it's gonna make dyes obsolete.

Malevolent should be repaired with malevolent energies. Unless it's dyed, otherwise it's gonna make dyes obsolete.

For trim version of each set idk if they should be repaired the same as their lower tier. Any suggestion?

    Weapons

Drygores should be repaired with damaged chitin. Unless it's dyed, otherwise it's gonna make dyes obsolete.

Spear of Annihilation/Masterwork spear should be repaired with masterwork plate. This encourage people to mine more or sell more ores.

Khopesh(t92) should be repaired with scraps of scripture. I think a blessing is a bit too much to ask for, which will stop people from using it as it will take forever to obtain 100 scripts for a blessing.

Telos weapons should be repaired with its respective dormanted part, Unless it's dyed, otherwise it's gonna make dyes obsolete.

Ascension crossbows should be repaired with a keystone. Lets say each keystone repair 10%. Force people to farm more keys. Unless it's dyed, otherwise it's gonna make dyes.

*** Don't think all of them should be added, some of them are just better to remain as they currently are.

However my top pics would be the. Drygore, Masterwork, Sirenic, Malevolent, Tectonic.

Higher end bosses should also drop more coin. Making them more worthwhile.

    New addition

Hardmode gw1, gw2 and Vorago hardmode.

Add Beetlejuice attack to KK. Need eg a shield to not insta die, shield absorb x-amount of damage.

Some of Magister attacks aren't added. Add the missing ones to make him a bit more challenging.

Buff the dmg of the bombs a bit to force a bomb tanking roll. Making use of shields

These bosses are a bit too easy and not worthwhile for late gameplay. Hardmode gw1, gw2 increase pet drop rate? Separate hiscore for it. Making more og players wanna do pvm again.

Players have asked for coloured version of EOF, so they can store different specs.

    MTX related

The point is to have more stuff to aim for, and keep bonds prices up.

I still think we need an ONYX zone, not that much benefits going beyond Diamond.

I would like a donator in-game shop with untradeable cosmetics. Each zone having more items.

Loyalty titles, we lack of a lot of loyalty titles. Loyalty recolour option.

I see a lot of new player struggle with getting coin, as well as having a hard time starting out.

My suggestion would be add something like a Task/Achievement system.

I think this is an amazing addition, since it will introduce new players to a lot of content. Especially if they come from OSRS and haven't played RS3.

Eg introduce the steps to make a Masterwork armour, which will show the basic of the Mining and Smithing rework.

RS3 already have a lot of good ones on wiki.

Not only will it be a new way to gain some GP for new players. It will also give og players something more to grind for. Possible have cosmetics/titles and other rewards for completing certain amounts of achievements. Eg Trials outfit, Vanquish sword, sunspear

Other RSPS have something similar, however it's not that custom since RS3 also has it. But they only rewards points and not GP.

Agreed.  I'd like so see some of, if not all of this^

If I relabeled it as "Feedback: it's hard to find a general server overview on the main website" would that be valid? Either way it doesn't make a difference to me at this point as an active player. Move, archive, do with the thread what you will. Just made this to share my experience as a new user trying to pick between RSPS servers.

That's fair, I don't think the point of the ladder of replies was to insult you for doing so, just pointing out more or less that some people could look at it and mistake it as avoiding the locked subforum.

Honestly its not bad feedback.  No ill intention was directed toward you I promise.

    You mean something like this?

Also, this is a feedback page. not an suggestion page.

Gotdamn, Arcadiez and Sprout are the kings of guides man.

As the others have said, I don't believe calling the post a suggestion is necessarily appropriate at this point, considering the state of the suggestions forum, however I do feel this should be posted, if not pinned somewhere easily accessible to see or get to on the forums/discord.

  9. I really honestly don't know a whole lot about Archeology to begin with in order to make a meaningful response, mostly all I can say is that I do think it's a subject that does need to be looked at.  Big thanks to Sprout for the detailed response.  You can always count on him :)

I've been probably too vocal of my opinions on the current state of the Velheim economy in game; I've had warnings, arguments, and conversations with a lot of members of the server. In doing so, I have made a lot of people angry with myself personally; and I can understand where that comes from. I want to state off the top that I love playing this game, I love what our staff does for the server, and I love sands passion in doing his updates so frequently, and by himself. This server is truly something special, and I will always stand by that. However, I think many of the non-ironman players and even the staff can agree that the state of the games economy is at the very least annoying, if not slightly concerning. I've been in trouble for saying all these different things that others have also said on the forums that they can blame the state of the economy on, but instead lets look for a solution.

The real problem with the economy in my eyes, is that it is stagnant. People have money, they are getting drops, people are PVMing, but there is a lack of trading fundamentally for almost all items. This leads to very sought after items (i.e. HSR) skyrocketing in price, while a majority of items have crashed dramatically.

    How can we fix stagnancy?

One option which will get shot down, and I can understand sand doesn't want it on his server and that is his decision; is gambling and or staking. If coded to do so, this can all be automated to assure no scamming between players.

Another option to consider is adjusting the auto-sell prices for a lot of items in the grand exchange. This doesn't need to be dramatic, but should have a much more solid idea of what items are worth, and if set correctly can assure that someone doing high tier, or even mid tier PVM makes a reasonable amount of GP from their hard work and if set correctly should also leave enough room for the average price to be more dictated than supply and demand to avoid adding too much GP into the game.

Another option would be to make all high tier gear degradable, with no option or work around to make all gear repairable. If the items are out of the game people will have to spend the money they make to buy more gear once again. I personally am not a fan of this option but just throwing it out there.

Another thing that can help with stagnancy in theory is adding death cost. Make this scale with gear cost, and make it punishing, as there is no real loss when dying currently. If you cant afford in cash to retrieve your items, you lose the ones you chose to.

Another option could be a for-profit lending system. if you cant sell the higher end gear, loan it to poorer players for a fee so that the item isn't sitting in the grand exchange for weeks, or in your bank never to be used again.

As for my ideas, this is what I have come up with thus far, and would like if anyone else with ideas contributed to this post.

The last thing I want is for this game to "die" (with the massive iron man community the game has this wont ever truly happen, but you get the idea) because I love to play it. I always encourage new players to buy bonds with their money in real life for a nice jump start on the game. I want this game to grow to even larger heights, and I want to be here when it reaches those heights.

    Open a discussion

thoughts, opinions, ideas of your own, want to tell me im a butthead for making this post? talk about it in the comments. start a conversation. keep it civil, please.

As a non regular account, (Ironman) I will be speaking purely within the context of what I've seen, as I don't have much if at all any experience actually participating in the eco but i do have a few points.

-I think that gambling is a bad idea, for multiple reasons.  I understand entirely how it could affect the economy and how it could really help things, but it could also encourage addictions from people, make people rage quit, and divide certain communities of players. - That being said, to expand on your idea for the ge thing.  What if we set fixed GE prices for *most* items in the GE, then when people sold those items, it gets added to a pool, which players could enter everyday/week/month?  Something like use raffle tickets?  Or maybe repurpose another item that isn't currently used for other things?  Such as Castle Wars (Bronze) and (Silver) tickets.  That way, it's a controlled gamble, that can't be abused or turned into an addiction.  As a person who has worked in places that sell gambling tickets/etc I can't stand to see people gamble away their banks, money, or time.  I know a lot of people that would donate lots of money and gamble it all away then quit.  And don't get me wrong, donations help the server.  They help Sandstorm.  But I feel the mental state and stability of the players is just so much more important.  That's just my opinion, and if anyone disagrees, absolutely feel free to say so.

I feel at this point within the game, making armor degrade to dust automatically would be extreme, HOWEVER, perhaps we could introduce a faster degradation process.  I do think that would be a much better money sink than straight up having them destroyed all together.  (If i misunderstood what you were saying I apologize, bare with me.)  Another option would be on death, you lose 5-10% (or less) degradation on your armor as well?  I know there are certain items on RS3 that already do that.

I think that removing death safety (Keeping your items) wouldn't be a bad idea at all to be entirely honest.  It would make it so that you must carry cash with you at all times when PvMing, which at this point, cash really isn't much worth keeping around.  (Due to the state of the economy)  And while I do actually LOVE not dropping my items on death, I do also feel it could help with stuff there too.

At the end of the day, in order to fix this economy it's going to take work from more than one party.  One person absolutely cannot fix everything, no matter how much they end up selling.  I see players complaining (and I'm absolutely not naming names) that nobody will buy their items, but they have spent almost their whole gameplay also not buying items as well.  The highest tier players have to realize that the hard truth is that they also are a part of this issue, and they also have to contribute to the growth of the economy.  Start buying low level gears for invention materials, encourage others to do the same.  Start feeding your wealth back into the economy and the economy will feed it back.

Another thing everyone needs to keep in mind, is that this is a large community, and it's going to take more than just 1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day for this to change, it's a very slow process.  Something I tell people all the time when it comes to buying bonds, is that if you want those prices to go down, you MUST stop buying them.  The demand for those things is too high with the supply being so low.  Everybody needs to be apart of both buying and selling items for it to work, you can't own 1/15th of the economy and not sell any of your items and expect those same items to be low in price.

I also feel some generosity might do a little good too, every few weeks xxrandom does drop parties and absolutely unloads so much into the economy, which allows other (newer) players to experience those items and sell them for what they feel is fair.

Finally, I think it's time to take a step back from the RSPS ideology that everything will/must be faster/easier.  The cash flow is balanced much better than before (I feel at least) and it's easy to say you don't make a crap load of money anymore, but at a certain point you have to just accept that for what it is and build the economy over that.   Sell your items for what you feel is a realistic price for the time/effort you put into them.  (In my opinion) An SGB is not worth 1b.  It just isn't.  And if everyone else adopted that same opinion, and refused to buy them for that much, the price for it would go down, making it more accessible.

All of what I'm saying could be entirely wrong, or exactly what we need to fix the eco, I don't know.  I'm not an expert, as i said in the beginning, this is coming entirely from the context of what i see.  You're absolutely allowed to disagree with me.

  11. Hello everyone.  @Medley, and myself are opening up a few spots in our GIM.  As of right now, we have only one open spot, but another may be available soon.  We will see in the future.

We are taking our GIM VERY seriously, and we would like our new members to be active, friendly and fun.  Contribution to the GIM itself is not necessarily required, we are looking for teamwork.  We would like to boss together every week, at least one day a week.  (Not all day, but for a few hours at least.)

Our vetting process is going to be very very strict, I'm not going to lie.  In the past I personally have had very bad experience with the wrong GIM, so in order to be considered, the criteria below must apply to you and your account, and you must also fill out the application in your reply to this post.

    Current members:

    • GIM Medley; Leader
    • Iron Agnes
    • Eila
    • Markiplier
    • Bux

    The application.

    Spoiler

    IGN?  (In game name?)  -

Total time played? (Across your GIM account AND/OR other accounts) -

How much do you plan on playing with us on your GIM account? -

What can you contribute to our GIM?  (Not talking about the chest.)  -

    What's your favorite animal? -

    Our requirements to join.

    Spoiler

I don't like putting an age requirement on these things, but we would like you to be age 18 or older.  This is for a variety of reasons, but mainly for maturity.  I'm not saying minors are incapable of being mature, but in a lot of cases (not all) they just aren't.  If you are active in-game, meet all criteria and also happen to be 16-17, we MAY consider you, though that is a big maybe.

You MUST be a friendly person.  We are not looking for drama, and we are not looking for feuding or fighting.  Medley and myself can disagree on things and even if one of us gets a little bit upset, we can put that behind us because our friendship is more important than the drama of whatever is was we disagreed on.  Controversial topics ARE allowed, but not at the expense of our fellow GIM members.  We refrain from being anti anything that will effect our fellow member.  If you cannot put your beliefs behind you and accept each other for who we are, what we believe in and how we live our lives, you cannot join.

As activity is so important to us, we will not be accepting brand new accounts.  (If you play the game on a different account and you create a new account to join us it's okay) but brand new GIM's fresh to the game unfortunately will not be accepted.  You MUST have an active daily presence on the server.  If I have never seen you before, there's a good possibility that we wont be accepting your application.

You MUST follow the rules put in place by the server.  If for any reason you break the rules, you will receive warnings from the rest of us as well depending on the severity of the situation, possibly subject to being banned from the group.  We DO NOT tolerate ANY rule breakers.  If you are caught calling people names, saying horrible things to people, botting, or breaking serious rules, we will convene and discuss removing you from the group.  Lucky Charms follows ALL of Velheim's rules and we will help the staff with anything they request of us.  If that's something that scares you, or you dislike, don't even bother to apply.

There will be a trial period of no access to the GIM bank.  If this bothers you and you are unable to understand this, then don't bother to apply.  We are still willing to trade with you and help you out as much as needed.

Finally, you must join the Velheim discord, and our Lucky Charms discord so that we can chat outside of the game and communicate even when we aren't in game.

Medley and I want to have a very VERY close friendship, and we want to extend that friendship to other people, but trust is something that comes by slowly for both of us.  If these requirements seem extreme to you, it's probably because they are.  We meant for them to be extreme so that the best of the best and the nicest of the nicest will apply to join.  Teamwork is our #1 priority, and while we don't expect you to do this, both Medley and myself share EVERYTHING.  If i get a drop, then a second of the same drop, it instantly going into the GIM for my fellow members to use, the same goes with Medley.

At the end of the day, we want active, loving, friendly, fun and exciting members who will contribute to the community and help make Lucky Charms the #1 GIM in-game!

EDIT:  I wanted to add something real quick, if for any reason we decide to deny you, it does not reflect our opinion on you personally, or your personality.  We DO NOT discriminate, and we want to be inclusive, while also doing the best thing for our GIM.  Maybe in the future we will start up a second GIM available to other players to join as well.

EDIT:  After some careful consideration we've decided to let Bux into our group, since @Yggdrasil is the only one to apply, I'd like to clarify that our decision not to move forward with you was NOT personal in any way, shape or form.  Most people in the Gim are very familiar with Bux and we simply felt he would be the best fit for the spot.  In the future, if another spot opened up, we absolutely encourage you to reapply.  Thank you for your application.  <3

Also going to add a few shops in priff, i found a place that sells 5 white berries.  ;)

  13. I've got a lot to cover so lets just step right into it!

This guide is going to be more about the activities available to you, not in which order to do them.

    Trivia:

    Spoiler

    Screenshot-2021-09-02-022733.png

Trivia will be announced inside of your game chat, it is available to all players, regardless of game mode.  It's important to answer as many of them as possible, as you can purchase things such as Screenshot-2021-09-02-022832.png bonds and the Master Quest Point cape.  Among other cosmetics.

    Voting:

    Spoiler

You can vote by typing ;;vote in the chat.  This is available once every 12 hours.  The top 5 voters every month receives a Christmas cracker.

If you vote twice daily, that's going to be between 11-12 vote points a day, so after just 2 1/2 to 3 days, you'll be able to buy a Screenshot-2021-09-02-022832.png bond from the store.  I also recommend buying Mystery boxes as well, if that's your kind of thing.  They do give some pretty decent items!  Screenshot-2021-09-02-022817.png

    Raffle:

    Spoiler

Every single day you can collect a Screenshot-2021-09-02-012540.png raffle ticket from Balthazar.  From the 1st to the 10th of the month, you can turn those tickets back into him for a reward!  These rewards can range anywhere from a full set of GILDED Warpriest armor, to some oh so incredible protean boxes!  You can collect a raffle ticket from him every day though, even after the 10th of the month.

You also receive raffle tickets from Daily challenges, along with SOF spins

    Screenshot-2021-09-02-012434.png   Screenshot-2021-09-02-012505.png

    Ports:

    Spoiler

I fully believe ports are worth doing, as they take a minute or less to do each day, while providing you with an actually decent set of tank armor for all 3 classes!

To get to ports, you will have to have atleast level 90 in one of the following skills:

    • Agility
    • Construction
    • Cooking
    • Divination
    • Dungeoneering
    • Fishing
    • Herblore
    • Hunter
    • Prayer
    • Runecrafting
    • Slayer
    • Thieving

To get there, you can open up the quick teleport menu, and select Screenshot-2021-09-02-013125.png misc teleports.

Next, select Screenshot-2021-09-02-013142.png and you should be teleported to port sarim.

    Use the portal!

Screenshot-2021-09-02-013230.png Then talk to this lil fella Screenshot-2021-09-02-013254.png

You can see your materials on this board..  Screenshot-2021-09-02-013324.png and you can trade those materials for armors/weapons at Screenshot-2021-09-02-013341.png the trader!

There are lots of different ways to do Ports, however I feel the best way is to send your first ship(s) out for 12 hours.  Once you purchase your 3rd ship, start sending them out for 24 hours ea.  This should net you quite a bit of materials.

I've heard other say that selling your materials for Chimes is a good idea to start out with, depending on what you're after.  The materials for Tetsu/Seassinger/death lotus all sell to The Trader for a 1/5 ratio.  (1 plate for 5 chimes)

    Crystal Flasks:

    Spoiler

You can make crystal flasks everyday, as well as utilize the hefin cathedral for prayer experience!

Use the Screenshot-2021-09-02-013413.png home teleport in your spell book, and go to Screenshot-2021-09-02-013434.png Priffdinas.

When you're there, go WEST, the way you go should look like this:

    Screenshot-2021-09-02-013555.png

Run west, and find the Crystal-flecked sandstone

Screenshot-2021-09-02-013657.png In order to mine this, you must have a mining level of atleast 81.

You can bring the crystal-flecked sandstone ore to the robust glass machine, which is right next to the sandstone rock.   Screenshot-2021-09-02-013912.png

Just click active on your wicked hood.

Plant them at the following locations.

Once they are fully grown, you can pick 4 berries from each plant, totally 20 berries per run.  You can do this every 5-10 minutes or so, but if you don't feel like doing it that much, once a day will yield

    roughly 600 berries a month.

Use the Screenshot-2021-09-02-015600.png teleport, speak with Goomah, he will teleport you to the Deep Sea Fishing Hub.  Screenshot-2021-09-02-021125.png

The merchant is not a traditional NPC, instead he is a boat, located at the middle large platform.

He comes once every 4 hours, and the announcement does not come in game.  There is however an announcement in the discord!

Most of the time, someone will call him out.  Keep in mind that you can only purchase stuff from him once a day!  After you open the shop once, for the rest of the day, his stock will remain the same.  Regardless of how many times he has shown up.  So it's best to ask what his stock is and make sure he has what you want, before going in and checking.  Unless you don't care about that kind of thing haha.

    Motherlode Maw:

    Spoiler

The motherlode Maw is a DnD that required level 115 Dungeoneering, being one of the highest requirements for any of these dailies.

It can be found in the Mailyr District of Priffdinas, inside the resource dungeon.

Special thanks to @Mf Doom for helping me out with these pictures, as I don't have the level requirement to enter the dungeon!  XD

I wanted to say, this ended up being a LOT smaller, and less detailed than I was hoping it would be, originally I had taken 94 photos, but I had problem uploading them, and having them embed onto this post as well.  In the near future, I'll try to go in and clean up this post.  Some more.

I'd also like to add, if anyone has any other recommendations to add to this post, I will do so, and credit you in the post as well.  That's all for now.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.  <3

  14. Thank you for the guide!  Looks great!

I'd also like to add that the sophanem slayer dungeon is a great source of GP as well, and you dont even have to actually pick up the gold off the ground as you can attune your chest to auto collect all loot.

You can get corrupted gems for slayer helms, khopesh of kharidian and off hand khopesh as well.  I usually on average receive up to 1m-2m per task here, and most tasks take about 10 minutes.

Corrupted gems are used for the corrupted slayer helm, so they might tank, or they might sell for quite a bit, you never know!  :)

Also, vote books usually sell for about 2m a piece, so that's at least 10-12m a day out of just voting!

And finally..  the top voters every month receive a nice lil special prize so remember to vote!  :)

EDIT:   Make sure to do all your ;;etts every single day.  I average about 7m per tree so it's always worth doing!
