For those unfamiliar with Animal Mask, it's literally a tongue-in-cheek jab at the age-old anime trope of kemonomimi female characters, or, females with animal ears and/or tails. The main character loves the actual animals more than the human-like counterparts, despite both and more being in the world (there is also beastmen). It's really cute and funny.
