  1. I've been playing a fair amount now so I thought I'd add a few lines here. My real name is Ben - I'm from the UK, though I lived for a couple of years in India, and I'm thinking about whether or not I want to move there (or somewhere else) and leave western life behind permanently. I'm 27 years old, used to play RS3 a lot and when I quit in 2013 I had a comp cape and quite a few 200ms, but I let go of the game to focus on real life. Now and then I come back to RSPS and this one has got me hooked (I now have 576 hours of in-game time). As I quit before most of the content on Velheim was released, I have to ask a fair amount of questions and I'm still learning about Invention and some of the newer bosses. Normally, I use quite a light hearted tone in-game but I can also be serious. To be honest, I haven't actually made any friends on Velheim so far, but that might be my fault? Not sure. I've always had an uneasy relationship with RS and I struggle with the fact that although I enjoy it and it relaxes me, I also feel addicted. For now I'm continuing to play though, and I'm currently trying to make a Masterwork Spear for the trimmed requirements (not having any luck so far). Other than that I don't really have any goals in-game, except maybe the collection logs.

  6. Since the dawn of time I tried to be the first to get Tess, the Telos pet. The road to the first Tess pet was ruined when someone else managed to get the pet before me on a low KC - I kept going for the Tess for many kills until I had to take a break when I hit a solid 600 KC Telos kills. Which at that point turned into a meme about me never getting the Tess pet. Going for the Tess pet made me the first to reach 4k Enrage, and getting the golden 'the warden' title, so that's a small plus in my book. Upon coming back, I turned back to doing more Telos, the need for Tess was to strong to keep me away from Telos and the meme was revived once again! After countless of hours grinding Telos, I managed to finally break the curse placed upon me, and get Tess. Only 693 Kill Count would it take for me, a small price for a Tess drop. For those wondering how the Telos Collection log looks like; The journy for Tess was a "fun" one. But now I have to find something else to restlessly hunt for. Currently looking at Araxxor pets (229 KC) and Fight Kiln pet (15 KC) ~ Best regards TheDarkTurm

  7. So I like to hike, and a friend and I happened to find ourselves in Seattle in the US. There are a lot of great national parks around the city so we decided to go hiking. Now note that it was the middle of November and the weather wasn't great but we checked it beforehand and it was supposed to be dry. So we found a seemingly great trail to hike, set up a little camp at the end and then hike back the following day. And here starts a whole series of unfortunate circumstances. Firstly, due to traffic we arrived pretty late to the trailhead, which lead to us hiking 75% of the trail in complete darkness. Secondly, the trail wasn't very long but we overlooked the elevation changes and it was one of the most brutal hikes I've ever hiked. Third, we arrived around midnight at our campsite, set up our tent, ate some food and immediatly went to sleep because we were exhausted. About an hour into our sleep it began to rain. A lot. So halfway through the night, our tent started to leak, our stuff was getting wet and well sleeping was pretty much off the table. It was also between 0-5 degrees celcius so it was cold as balls. At first light we got out of the tent, got our stuff packed as quickly as possible and went back to the car as fast as we could. It rained throughout our whole 9 hr hike back. We immediatly heated up the car, found the closest airbnb and went to sleep immediatly. Looking back, it was probably one of the more dangerous things I have experienced. Due to the cold and wet conditions, we showed symptoms of hypothermia, and the ground was wet and slippery everywhere so one wrong step could've meant us slipping towards our death. But, we both survived and now we have a great story to tell to everybody . Some pictures of an enthusiastic start to the hike, and somewhere halfway on the way back :

  8. Could always be an event day, like start with some skilling competitions then move on to a pvm bingo would be cool. As it would be nice to be able to participate in everything, not just one event.
