Hey, figured I'd make one of these so you guys don't think I ditched you. So, as some of you might or might not know I'm a dad now - my girl gave birth to a beautiful son on 14th February. They're coming home today from the hospital. The next night my father passed away from old age, though they wrote in it was due to covid, bullshit. So I'm actually in a rollercoaster of emotions and still trying to figure out what's what. Funeral's this friday, 19th of February, so I have to take care of a lot of things for that. Hoping to get the currently prepared update released sometime this week, just need a bit more testing is why I'm putting it back. I'll do it first thing when I get some time off and can mentally control myself. So yeah, see you very soon, and sorry there hasn't been any updates in a good while.

Hey, Editing the original topic to properly introduce myself now that I've "settled in". Figured why not? I'm Nico, a Finnish dude who enjoys proper software development, bad jokes and good beer, I've been playing RS since 2003, but I don't have access to any of my old accounts anymore, so my current "main" is from 2007. I've been programming pretty much ever since I got my first computer, so after I started playing RS properly, I founded the fansite Draynor.net (now defunct and closed down) that specialized in tools like dynamic signatures, custom calculators and planners, dynamic world map viewers and other fun stuff that we built when Jagex started the trusted fansite program. We were getting tens of millions of views on our dynamic signatures from all the other sites' forums and I think we had around 50k members on our own forums. Shit was nice. Shortly after that I created the clan tracking site RuneHead.com (also defunct and closed down now), which was basically what RuneClan is nowadays. Had a monopoly but ran out of time due to working in the real world so I had to let both sites go. I haven't done much RS related programming in a while, but I'm currently working on some tools for us to use here on Velheim, with stuff like experience tracking, banked xp calculators, skill references with easy to access for players of all game modes to quickly get up to speed on their accounts the right way. So, a proper hello to everyone. Sorry for nulling the server. (Allegedly) Sorry for the jokes. No hard feelings.

Hello there, I've been on the server for about 1.5-2 weeks now i reckon? so thought I'd introduce myself on the good ol' forums. I'm 24 years old from sweden, studying international marketing with a bachelor of science in financial economics. I've been playing rsps on and off for a bunch of years and u might recognize me under the alias 'iex'. You'll probably see me die on my hardcore anytime soon, I promise I don't bite. Evening All, I've been around a while but thought I'd grace you wonderful people with a proper introduction. My name is Mark, a 22 year old Legend from the wonderful country of England. People call me by many names, mainly; Mork, Smork, and more notably Monkas. You'll find me walking around the server like a lost dog, acting like I know what I'm doing when in reality I'm probably just as confused as you are. If I'm not on Velheim, i'm normally doing Graphic Design or Photography, but luckily for me Boris has told me to sit in and play Velheim 24/7 - Big up Boris. Its been a while since I've written an introduction thread... So hey, I'm Sparkii, or Ash whichever you prefer. I'm 27 from the UK. I work full time so don't really get much time for games these days but with being stuck at home 24/7 currently I needed some form of escape from reality! I've played RS and other RSPS on and off for about 14 years but this is the first time I've come back to it in about 5 years following bad experiences with my last time on one. From my first few days here, the server is quite possibly one of the best I've played on previously and with the drop rates and kindness of other players I reckon I'll stick around for some time to come. I've always been more of a PvM player rather than PvP - I get fed up of dying too easily... A little bit about me... I enjoy gaming, always have done, the Mrs hates it but...yeah. I was a mix between Xbox and PC but moved more to just console for the past few years. I enjoy most Forza games, Battlefield and anything which takes some thought to succeed. I have a little dog called Astro, he's a chihuahua cross corgi so adorably cute but sheds like a mother in the summer... I'm a massive car fan, my dream cars would be either a GTR or Mustang, but have my eye set on a very nice Ranger Raptor at the moment. My aims... Well I plan to max at some point and get some bossing on the go, more than likely slower than most because I opted for the x2 not thinking that I'll only be on for 2-3 hours of an evening because of work! Well that's pretty much me, I look forward to some entertaining times here

Hi y'all I'm new and just looking to spend time doing very little. About Me: I'm Matt, I'm a nerd, and I don't do a ton. I am from Vermont, so I do outdoor stuff with my feet (like hobbit stuff). School: I graduated in 2017 with a BA in English, and I've only used my degree for writing shit, but nothings been published, and I dont know that I'll ever get around to publishing. I have a book like 1/2 ready, but I have yet to take the time to finish. Work: The job market in VT isn't great, but I am a pretty good talker and I am good with theoretical economics, so I dabble in sales and bank loan shit. Currently, my wife is having a child in a couple of weeks so I am trying to stay as remote as possible, so I'm helping with VT Covid vaccine registration and part time covid testing as a laboratory assistant. Fun: I mentioned that I write, and I do sometimes. I was diagnosed and treated for a rare-ass cancer almost 10 years ago, and I write about my experiences with treatment, side-effects, and other therapies. I also have a massive gaming computer, and I sometimes play a few games, but I have some nerve issues in my left hand so playing a lot of competitive competitive computer games, but I do like the hardware and just playing around. I also do like some HTML, CSS, and JAVA coding and I dabble, so that's me. I hope I didn't miss anything. QUESTIONS CLASS?

Sorry this is a few days late, but 1. congrats. My daughter is due right about a month after your kid (so we'll be able to talk about dad stuff) and also that sucks that he passed. There's not much I can do to change; except, I know that avoidable death sucks and unavoidable death sucks just as much. Do what you can and enjoy all the time with your kid. Do what you can and what you need. Thanks for letting us know that you're here though.

Sorry. I'm kind lame and my cancer was not in my ass, and the misstatement was kinda shitty. It was a really rare type and location (the diagnosis rate is like 1/2,000,000 and the actual location is another 1/254,000,00. My cancer also led to a brain injury, so that added to rarity by about 1/2,000,000ish. Those rates may be vastly understated and made up, but the rarity is very real. Facing lots in real life and still more active and throwing out better updates than all other RSPS owners around.. That aside, I hope you find peace in your current situation. There's no easy way but time, but the celebration of life comes twofold in both events you're facing. Cherish it all, we're not going anywhere. PS. Time to implement a "Baby updates" section within the updates threads >=)

Howdy, I'm Meepo/Meep/whatever you want to call me. I'm from the UK where the summers are short and the rain is plentiful. I joined the server in mid Jan however I didn't feel there was a right time for me to make one of these thingies but a little server downtime can bring a man to do anything. I have played Runescape on and off since 2007 when I was a wee boy and have always had an itch for private servers as I don't have the patience to continue the grind on the main servers. (Funny I'd pick Classic for my EXP rate...). You can catch me around the server slaving away on my skills or battling Aquious for the trivia master spot in chat. Outside of RS, I work in IT/Telecoms so if you ask me for computer advice I'll tell you to turn it off and on again first. If I'm not working/scaping you can find me playing Mobas such as Dota 2/League/HoTS with friends or Path of Exile. It has been a pleasure to meet everyone so far and I hope to see you all in-game soon.

In-game name: Ahoy Why do you deserve to win?: I would finish up the last $22.5 to reach the diamond rank, everything that is left I would share with other players, giving them a perk they are missing. I rather share it with others as to keep it all for myself, especially since I got almost all of the perks and I personally have no real need to spend the rest on cosmetics, so sharing the left over $$ with other players feels the best. Personally I do not think I deserve it cause I took a break from the server to deal with some irl things, I am sure there are plenty of players who think they really deserve it with a good reason.
