Doesnt seem like the typical rts game tho, more a 3d/modern version of it. I’ve played a bit of factorio and civ, love both them games

Dodo
One of the college kids that I tutor really loves XCOM 2 and I've learned about some mechanics so that I can use them as analogies while I explaining his schoolwork. Seems like a really interesting concept, requires a ton of planning, and each level is unique with many different solutions. https://store.steampowered.com/app/268500/XCOM_2/

I love the Paradox Interactive games! Crusader Kings, Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, Imperator, Victoria, they are all great games! Civ V is still one of my all time favorites, just a fantastic game! Frostpunk was nice, had a great time with that game. And finally, I love the Nobunaga's Ambition games. They are great strategy games if you're into Japanese History. My most played games on Steam :

Brotherloe
@Arcadiez yeah I have and it's pretty good but still very bare bones compared to CKII. That's why I prefer CKII right now but give CKIII time to get its content updates and it'll probably be really fun!

Wouldn't really call AC games strategy games, but either way it is a good series. Interesting to see that skull and bones game turns out. I love age of Empires, hope the game isn't a disappointment and keep on the track of how AE2 is. 1 Spoiler Top notch mod response
