It involves defeating the six Barrows brothers, each with their own special strengths and weaknesses. Location You can teleport to Barrows Digsite with the Teleportation Menu. Go to Minigame - BarrowsHead through the gateway to enter the Barrows Graveyard, you do not have to bring a spade. (Akrisae brother is not in-game atm) Setup/Gear suggestions As the Brothers all have level 70 stats, players with high stats (90+) and equipment (tier 80+) can simply power through every brother. Ahrim Spoiler Ahrim the Blighted is the magic-using brother of the group. He uses fire spells, and with every attack, he has a 1/4 chance of draining your Strength level, and can also cast spells to lower the player's Attack, Strength and Defence levels. Ahrim is easily taken down with ranged attacks; however higher-levelled players with stronger equipment can defeat him with any style. Ahrim's tomb lies in the centre of the graveyard. Prayer Protection: Protect from Magic. Dharok Spoiler Dharok the Wretched is a melee-using brother who attacks with his greataxe. He uses strong melee attacks that increase in power as his life points are lowered. He is weak to fire spells; however, any magic spell will work with at least tier-70 equipment. Higher-levelled players with stronger equipment can defeat him with any style. Dharok's tomb is the north-east mound. Prayer Protection: Protect from Melee. Guthan Spoiler Guthan the Infested is a melee-using brother who attacks with his warspear. His attacks have a 1/4 chance of healing him for the damage he dealt. He is weak to air spells; however, any magic spell will work with at least tier-70 equipment. Higher-levelled players with stronger equipment can defeat him with any style. Guthan's tomb is the south-east mound Prayer Protection: Protect from Melee. Karil Spoiler Karil the Tainted is the ranged-using brother of the group. He attacks with his crossbow, and with every attack, there is a 1/4 chance that he will drain your Magic level by 1. Karil is easily taken down with melee attacks; however higher-levelled players with stronger equipment can defeat him with any style. Karil's tomb is the southernmost mound. Prayer Protection: Protect from Range. Torag Spoiler Torag the Corrupted is a melee-using brother who attacks with his hammer. His attacks have a 1/4 chance to drain 5% adrenaline. He is weak to water spells; however, any magic spell will work with at least tier-70 equipment. Higher-levelled players with stronger equipment can defeat him with any style. Torag's tomb is the south-west mound. Prayer Protection: Protect from Melee. Verac Spoiler Verac the Defiled is a melee-using brother who attacks with his flail. His attacks have a 1/4 chance to hit regardless of armour rating. He is weak to earth spells; however, any magic spell will work with at least tier-70 equipment. Higher-levelled players with stronger equipment can defeat him with any style. Verac's tomb is the north-west mound. Prayer Protection: Protect from Melee. For maximum loot potential, each brother must be killed before looting the chest. The brothers who are resting in their crypts are summoned by investigating their sarcophagus; when disturbed, they will spawn and immediately attack the aggressor. They may only be attacked by the player who summoned them. If the brother is not killed when the player leaves their crypt, they despawn and must be resummoned again, returning with full health. Strategy Dig at each 'mound' in turn to enter the crypt, and then check the sarcophagus inside. If a brother spawns, kill them and move onto the next mound. If you are presented with a prompt asking if you wish to go into a hole, decline and exit the crypt, noting which mound the hole is located. Proceed through killing all the brothers in the other mounds. Once all mounds have been searched and each brother killed, return back to the mound with the hole, and enter it. You will be placed inside a maze. Your goal is to get to the centre of the maze to claim your final prize. Only some doors will open, so simply follow the openable doors until you find one leading to the centre. When you reach the centre chamber, you can attempt to open the final sarcophagus, prompting the last brother to spawn. Kill them, then you may loot it. The crypt will begin to collapse around you. At this point, it's advisable to teleport out AVOID KILLING REGULAR NPCS; It's not worth it, focus on killing ALL brothers instead. Defender/Repriser/Rebounder Spoiler The corruption sigil is an item obtained from the Barrows minigame loot chest. At least one Barrows brother needs to be killed to be able to get the sigil, and killing more brothers will increase the drop chance. The sigil is only dropped when a dragon defender or a better defender has been unlocked. Can be in your bank, doesnt have to be in your inventory. The sigil is used to create defenders by combining it with new or fully-repaired two-handed Barrows weapons. Combine it with Dharok's greataxe, Guthan's warspear, Torag's hammer, or Verac's flail to create a corrupted defender Combine it with Ahrim's staff to create a blighted rebounder Combine it with Karil's crossbow to create a tainted repriser Akrisae's war mace, Ahrim's wand, Ahrim's book of magic, Karil's pistol crossbow, Karil's off-hand pistol crossbow and Linza's hammer cannot be used to create any defenders.
