Arcadiez
Welcome to Velheim We are a Runescape private server based on the 2012 era of Runescape with loading data from RuneScape 3, meaning, we have everything up to the Archaeology & Invention skills, Skilling pets, all the new areas (Anachronia, Prifddinas, Wars Retreat!) and much more! It is completely free to play and offers some of the most unique, authentic and high quality game-play in Runescape private server history. Velheim has been around since early 2018 and we just surpassed the 4 year online mark without a single Reset! Game mode terms and what do they mean: 'XP Modifier' - this is a number that modifies your experience base rate from Runescape's rate. Runescape has a 1:1 ratio, for example, if you chose the normal mode - your base EXP for every hit or skilling action would be multiplied by 200. 'Drop rate boost' - the percentage modifies all random-number-generators on Velheim that are related to 'item drops', for example, if the 'Very Rare' drop table is a 1 in 200 chance and you chose the classic mode - that 1/200 then becomes a 1/180. This means you're more likely to get that item faster! 'Self sufficient' - all ironman gamemodes have this tag attached. This basically means you will not be able to trade other players, participate in group activities, use custom shops, or pick up other player items. A solo mode, if you will. Arcadiez
Velheim doesn't use bank pins or account pins, what we instead use is something called Mac-2fa security. A Mac-2fa security will prevent anyone who doesn't have direct access to your PC from being able to login. Disclaimer If you do not have 2fa enabled on your account and someone gets access to your account, we will not be responsible. Please DO NOT use the same password on Velheim as you use on other RSPS as we cannot be responsible if other Servers gets leaked or hacked. Never share your account/account information with anyone, we're not responsible if you get scammed/lured. The account shall only be used by YOU. How do I enable this? Head over to Quest Journal - Account Settings - 2nd Option, Enable Mac-2fa What's a MAC-Adress? A media access control address (MAC address) is a unique identifier assigned to a network interface controller (NIC) for use as a network address in communications within a network segment. Can read more here. What's 2FA? "Two Factor Authentication, also known as 2FA, two step verification or TFA (as an acronym), it's an extra layer of security that is known as "multi factor authentication". What if I'm locked out from my account? Make sure to disable the 2FA option if you know you gonna switch computer or travel away from your home, then enable it on your new PC. Otherwise contact a staff member and they can unlock your account. Please use Discord for fastest response. Spoiler Top notch mod response

Arcadiez
Welcome to Velheim, hope you enjoy your stay. If you're new to the RS3 meta don't be afraid! It may have a learning curve but i can assure you, once you give it a try you'll love it. It's like the Runescape we all wanted. Before we start, make sure to check the other sections such as money making, commands, home area etc. To get a good understanding of your surroundings. My first tip as with most RSPS is to start thieving at the Stalls at Home. This will give you some good starting cash. Get some food and pots from TANG The Imcando starting gear will be sufficient for a long run. So no need to get new gear straight away. 2nd thing to start with is to train up your combat. You can open this teleportation menu by clicking the "H" top-right of your minimap, or by pressing the shortcut key combination CTRL+T Try to get at least 50+ in your preferred combat stats, it's recommended to even get 70+. Now you have gained some combat levels i think it's time to try to level up other skills, as well as starting with ;;slayer Doing your daily challenges helps a lot. (Check below for more information) Getting Help Spoiler Chat Here are a couple of tips to help you find what you're looking for. Ask other players online through the chat. Use the "/" slash command to type. Example /help how do i find the magic shop? FAQ and Guides Make sure to check the FAQ page and Guides. Wiki You can also use the amazing ;;wiki command. This is a really important command and will help you A LOT through your time on Velheim. Example of usage: ;;wiki Hydrix This will automatically bring up the respective wiki page where you often find all the information you need. Ticket You can also use the ;;ticket command to get the in contact with a Staff member: However this shall NOT be used to answer common questions, this is more if you need assistance of a staff member. Lets say you're stuck and can't move. Discord I recommend to join our discord, in here you can easily get assistance and much faster than in-game for certain things. Find our Discord HERE Navigating around the Server Spoiler Teleport You can access the teleport menu by clicking on the H, located in the top right corner by the minimap. Can also access it by typing ;;train or the quick command "Ctrl+T" You can also use the Teleport portal at home. The teleport Menu has a search function (magnifying glass in top right corner) which lets you search for a location or NPC. There's different categories filled with most common teleports. You also have the ability to add teleports to your favorite list for quick access. You can also use the Lodestone Network to quickly get around the map. It's located in magic spell-book tab - Home teleport At last you have all the regular Runescape teleports. This includes rings/amulets/teleport tabs/regular teleport spells etc. Can find all teleports HERE Starting gear Spoiler Starting gear There are 3 styles of combat: melee, ranged and magic. When you use a particular style you want to use both a weapon of that style and armour of that style. Some gear, like the pathfinder armour you start with, can be used with any combat style with no negative influence on your damage and accuracy. For ranged and magic you improve the damage and accuracy of a combat style by levelling the skill of the same name which in turn allows you to equip better weapons. For melee, you train attack to improve your accuracy and strength to improve damage. Each combat style allows you to improve defense, but it's generally recommended to train your offensive capability first. Not only do you take less damage if you end the fight earlier, but you can train your defense faster if you're doing more damage per minute Pathfinder armour will tide you over at first. You can comfortably wear this until your defense reaches 70+. That will give you some time to familiarize yourself with the armour sets available per style. As with your combat skills themselves, it is preferable to get better weapons first and improve your armour later. Not all armour is equally effective. Examining the stats you will see some sets have more armour, while others will add a bonus to your offensive stats. These are respectively referred to as tank and power armour. Power armour is almost always preferable over tank armour, even if it's a lower tier gear than the tank armour. GEAR PROGRESSIONDisclaimer: These are not the "only way" to play. They are only suggestions for players who want to get into higher level combat asap. Magic: Spoiler Magic Starter tips: For magic it's recommend to get a full set of Subjugation. But replace the gloves with Cinderbane gloves and Boots with Ragefire boots. For weapon you should try to get a Chaotic staff from Dungeoneering. Arcadiez
Fixing Game lag. Spoiler Let start with opening the console and see if it is anything that stick out from the norm. Spoiler You can open the console by press on the ~ sign. It may be different depending on your keyboard layout. But it's the key above Tab, below Escape and next to the 1.Type in displayfps and press enter. Further information will be displayed by the minimap. FPS: Frames per second(has to be at least 30+ for stable game-play) If it is too low try changing the Graphic settings to a lower setting. PING: Your connection to the server. If the ping is very high or fluctuates a lot, then that means you're having a bad connection. Try disabling things that may use a lot of internet. A stable connection would be around 60ms or lower. Depends a bit where you're located and what your internet connection is. Cache: Shows how many percentage of the cache you have downloaded. If it's below ~ 90%, then you may experience lag spikes. You have to wait until more of the cache is downloaded. MEM: Refers to how much RAM memory you're using, it's recommended to have at least 4gb. To remove it just type Displayfps once more in the console. If nothing stick out from the norm than the most common issue is that you're running 32bit java instead of 64bit java. How to check if I'm running 32bit or 64bit java. Spoiler In the search bar type "cmd" Once cmd has been opened type the following. Java -version You should get a 64bit respond as shown on the picture. If this is not shown, type in the following to make sure. java -d32 -version java -d64 -version When typing java -d32 -version you should receive an error message as shown above. If you're using 64bit This is how it's supposed to be if you're running 64bit java. If you get the opposite as shown on the picture below, then you're running 32bit. Follow the information below on how to install the 64bit Java. 64bit can use more power from your system, in other words that it can use more RAM (32bit system can access only 4 GB of RAM) So it's highly recommend to use 64bit java. If you have 32bit java uninstall it from the control panel and install the 64bit. https://java.com/en/download/windows-64bit.jsp Disclaimer depending which Internet software you're using you may actually download the incorrect version. Make sure it states 64-bits somewhere on the webpage. And that the file you're downloading has x64 in it's name as shown below. Otherwise contact a Staff member and they will give you the correct one Unable to see any players? Spoiler Options Options contains a lot of different configurations for you.
